Who we are
Precision Plumbing Myrtle Beach takes bookings for residential plumbing work along the South Carolina coast. It holds no plumbing license and turns no wrench: the trade work belongs to the companies we hand requests to.
You call us, and the details go out to plumbing firms covering your area, each holding a state license and carrying insurance. Those firms pay us for the request. The company that visits your home prices the work, does it if you hire it, and handles the warranty.
This policy covers this website and calls, texts and emails to the contact details we publish. It does not cover what a plumbing company does with your information after we pass your request on. Those companies are separate businesses with their own privacy practices.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and the name of anyone else who will be at the property
- Your phone number and email address
- The service address, including a unit number
- What you tell us about the job, including photos you send
- Access details and days that suit you for a visit
- Your role: owner, tenant or property manager
Information created when you contact us
- Call recordings and call details such as the number you called from, the time and the length of the call
- Text messages between you and us
- Emails you send us and our replies
- Notes we take about your request
Information collected on this website
This site has no contact form and no login. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
We may add call tracking, analytics or advertising tools later. Those tools use cookies or similar technology and would collect device and usage information. If we add them, we will update this policy and the effective date above before they go live.
How we use it
- To book your appointment and pass your request to plumbing companies
- To contact you about that request by phone, text or email
- To answer questions and follow up on a visit
- To keep records of what was requested and what was passed on
- To review calls for quality and training
- To measure which pages and phone buttons produce calls
- To meet legal obligations and to handle disputes
We do not use your information to advertise unrelated products to you, and we do not build profiles about you beyond what the request needs.
Who receives it
Plumbing companies
The core of this service is passing your request to plumbing companies that can do the work. A request may go to more than one company, and each one may contact you. Those companies pay us for requests.
Because money changes hands for a request that contains your personal information, some state privacy laws may treat this as a sale or a sharing of personal information. See your choices below for how to opt out.
Service providers
We use outside providers to run the business, including a phone and text provider that records and stores calls, a web host, and an email provider. They handle information on our behalf and under our instructions.
Legal and business transfers
We may disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We do not otherwise sell your information to data brokers, list brokers or advertisers.
Calls, recordings and text messages
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded. We record for quality, training and an accurate record of what was requested. If you do not want to be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will note your request or take the details another way.
Give us your mobile number to book an appointment and we may text you about that request: confirming details, telling you a company is on the way to call, or following up. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
Reply STOP to any text to stop messages, and HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop by phone or email. Stopping texts does not stop us from calling you about a request you made.
Mobile numbers collected for appointment texts are used for our messages about your request. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices
- Ask us not to pass your request to plumbing companies. That ends the booking, since passing it on is the service.
- Ask us not to pass it to more than one company.
- Reply STOP to texts, or ask us to stop by phone or email.
- Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete what we hold, subject to records we have to keep.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information as those terms are used by state privacy laws.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights and a right to appeal a decision we make about a request. Ask us and we will tell you how.
Retention and security
Request records, recordings and messages stay with us while they serve a purpose: running the booking, settling any dispute about it, and meeting tax and legal obligations. After that they are destroyed.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can see it and using providers that secure their systems. Nothing stored or sent online sits beyond reach, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
Homeowners, renters and property managers are the audience here, and nothing on this site is aimed at children. Information from anyone under 13 is not something we collect on purpose. Tell us if you think a child sent us something and it gets deleted.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add a contact form, analytics, advertising pixels or a new kind of company that receives caller details. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
