Booking, start to finish

How booking a plumber works here

We are an appointment service, not a plumbing contractor. That distinction shapes everything below, and it is worth understanding before you call.

  1. The call

Address, symptom, and the days that work for you. For a rental or a place you do not live in, add how somebody gets through the door.

There is no form on this site on purpose. A two minute call gets more useful detail than a text box, and it gets you an answer while you are still on the phone.

  2. We match the job to a plumbing company

The details go out to plumbing firms working your stretch of coast, each holding a state license and carrying insurance. Expect more than one to ring. Pick whichever suits you and ignore the rest.

The companies pay us for the request. You pay nothing to be booked, and the price of the work is between you and the company that does it.

  3. The plumber comes out and prices the job

The estimate is free and it happens after someone has looked at the problem. A price quoted over the phone from a description is a guess, and guesses move once the panel comes off.

Ask for the estimate in writing, and ask what is included: parts, labor, permits where they apply, and what happens if the job opens up into something bigger.

  4. You decide

If the price works, the company does the work and you deal with them from there. If it does not, nothing happens next and you owe nothing for the visit.

If something goes wrong afterwards, the company that did the work handles the warranty. Keep the paperwork and the company name.

What we book, and what we do not

We book scheduled, non-emergency residential plumbing. That covers repairs, replacements and installs that can wait for an appointment, which is most of what goes wrong in a house.

We do not book emergency callouts. If a pipe has burst, a heater is spilling water or sewage is backing up into the house, shut the water off at the main and call an emergency plumber. Once the water is off, we can book the repair that follows.

Have this ready when you call
  • The service address, including the unit number
  • A short description of the problem and when it started
  • Days of the week that suit you
  • Make, model and rough age of anything mechanical
  • A photo on your phone, which helps more than a long description
  • Who can let the plumber in and who approves the estimate
What the estimate should cover
  • The work itself, in plain language
  • Parts and labor, split out where it matters
  • Permits and inspection where the job needs them
  • What is not included, and what would change the price
  • How long the work takes and when it can start
  • The warranty, and who honors it

Questions

Questions about the booking itself

The rest gets answered on the call.

Ask before you book (854) 237-0166
Are you the plumbers?

No. We book appointments with plumbing companies that are licensed and insured. The company that comes out does the work, prices it and warranties it.

Why might more than one company call me?

Your request can go to more than one plumbing company that covers your area. That gets you a faster appointment and a second price. If you would rather hear from one, say so on the call.

What does it cost me?

Nothing to be booked, and nothing for the estimate. You pay the plumbing company for the work if you hire it.

Do you record calls?

Yes, calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and training, and we may text you about your request. The privacy policy sets out what is collected and who receives it.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. Give us their address and the best number to reach the person who will be there, and tell us who approves the work.

One call books the visit

Ready to book?
